Sea of Life

Here's an interesting article that highlights some of the marine research that was done this past year. It's amazing how much we still have to learn about the natural world - just when people think we couldn't possibly discover anything more, up pops a shrimp thought extinct for 50 million year or schools of fish 20 million strong. Amazing stuff.

Census of seas reveals amazing forms of life

I love coming home some days and just getting a good look at the Bio blog. It's so refreshing to hear about these crazy things being found deep in the ocean just a couple hundred miles away from us. Its absolutely crazy that they can live near those vents. I kind of wish I was a marine biologist so I could join the mission to article every species in the water. I cant imagine how cool it must be to go down like 300 feet in the ocean and check out the crazy creatures down there where it is like pitch black. SO COOOL. Thanks Mr. Lemire

You're welcome. Wish I could find the time to blog more and give you more things to think about and find cool. Maybe I'll become a professional blogger...
